Four categories, four sets of criteria
We deliberately don't cover everything. A category opens only when we can name the specs that decide the purchase — and closes when we can't keep the prices current.
Headphones & Earbuds
Judged on ANC depth in low frequencies, comfort after four hours, codec support, and whether the app is usable without an account.
🤖Robot Vacuums
Judged on navigation reliability, dock maintenance burden, edge reach, and the yearly cost of filters, brushes and mop pads.
⌨️Keyboards
Judged on case rigidity, stabiliser quality, hot-swap support, firmware (QMK/VIA) and whether wireless actually wakes reliably.
✨AI Tools
Judged on output quality on your actual task, context limits, data handling, and what the free tier leaves out.
Monitors (the $300 4K question), air purifiers (CADR vs. room size), and standing desks. Each needs at least 30 hours of spec and owner-report work before it goes live; we'd rather publish late than publish thin.
